We wrote our first ever professional website for McAvoy & Beardsmore, back in 2001. In 2007 they commissioned us to create the current visual design, and set up a content management system.

McAvoy and Beardsmore are a Sheffield-based independent retail jewellery shop and workshop, and were our first clients way back in 2001. So it was a great pleasure to be invited back to carry out a major redesign and expansion in 2007.

They wanted a fresh new design, so we created fully original artwork, drawing on the Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts movements which inspire some of their orginal jewellery work.

They also wanted the ability to create and edit their own web pages, and the possibility of creating an online catalogue in the future. To meet this, we built the site with the Drupal content management system.
